On Physiognomy of Nature
On Physiognomy of Nature
The rationalisation of modernity sparked a sense of alienation. While we are being flooded with alarming news and statistics on a daily basis, they fail to resonate on an emotional level with the broader audience. The climate crisis isn't just an environmental issue: it is a crisis of imagination, a crisis of sensibility. As a potential antidote, Kamila Sipika and Justus de Rode reflect, each in their own way, on viewing the natural world through physiognomy: reading personal character through appearance.
