Priceless
In the exhibition ‘Priceless’ none of the presented works had a price, they are priceless in the many different meanings of the word. Peim lets the visitors determine the value of his works, while he serves drinks at the bar. The final economical value of the works plays an important role in the concepts and his making process. He questions the assumptions on which our economy is based, but also his artistic practice, constantly challenging both, in search of alternative micro transactions that are not out of kilter with humans and their environmental needs. Valuta that were used to pay for the art were amongst others: time, goods, services, arrangements and other proposals that were conceived on the spot by the buyers.
