Tactile Tendencies
Méabh Joyce is a visual artist from Ireland, her work is directed by a keen interest in organic textures and vibrant colours. She uses a variety of different processes: from printing techniques such as; photo intaglio, chine-collée, and relief print to mediums such as digital media and photography.
During her two-month residency at AGA LAB, Méabh created work inspired by shadows cast on windows, creating playful meditations with tone and colour combinations. Layering inks and different viscosities she expresses her personal experience of the world through colors, textures, and forms.
