‘Verhuizen, verhuizen, verhuizen. Nog steeds geen woning waar ik vast in kan wonen.’ Dané is 15 keer verhuist, keer op keer pakte ze spullen in en verplaatste ze deze naar het volgende huis. Hoe zou het zijn geweest als ze in 1 huis had gewoond. Gemiddeld verhuizen mensen in Nederland 7 keer. ‘Door het vele verhuizen, ben ik op veel verschillende plekken terechtgekomen. Ik heb veel bijzondere plekken gezien. Maar het heeft ook voor veel onrust gezorgd, constant weer nieuwe plekken leren kennen, je weer opnieuw proberen thuis te voelen.’
Tijdens een residentie in AGA lab start ze een zeefdruk serie van al haar huizen waar ze in heeft gewoond. Tijdens dit expo weekend in de Bouwput laat ze de eerste experimenten zien die ze heeft ontwikkeld om zo in gesprek te gaan over de wooncrisis, verhuizen en het gedoe rondom verhuizen.

‘Moving, moving, moving. Still no home where I can live permanently.’ Dané has moved 15 times, time and again she packed her belongings and moved them to the next house. What would it have been like if she had lived in 1 house. On average, people in the Netherlands move 7 times. ‘Because of all the moving, I ended up in many different places. I have seen many special places. But it has also caused a lot of unrest, constantly getting to know new places, trying to feel at home again.’

During a residency in AGA lab, she is starting a screen printing series of all her houses that she has lived in. During this expo weekend in the Bouwput, she will show the first experiments that she has developed in order to start a conversation about the housing crisis, moving and the hustle.
